Tours for Teachers is a program that shows firsthand principals, administrators, teachers, counselors and other staff the current and future workforce needs, what opportunities are available and how to better equip your students to enter the career field.
The Castle Rock Chamber Workforce Readiness Program is excited about your desire to participate in the Tours for Teachers Program.
Tours for Teachers aims to support workforce readiness, build talent pipelines, and bridge the gap between educators and businesses within Castle Rock and Douglas County. The Tours for Teachers program provides an in-depth discussion and “behind the scenes” tour of local businesses and industries in Douglas County, allowing educators to collaborate with business leaders to prepare the students to enter the workforce.
By opening the communication between both local businesses and educators, we will provide students the resources needed to enter the workforce, promote earning while you learn career opportunities, and reduce the “training to productivity” gap. Therefore, creating a winning collaboration for our education system and business leaders.
Designed for teachers, administrators, counselors, and staff, giving them resources and insight to help understand the workforce needs of today and the future.
