Government Interests Committee (GIC)

The Chamber’s Government Interests Committee provides our business community with a proactive voice and advocate regarding governmental issues; and promotes economic interests, which contributes to the quality of life of Castle Rock.

This program facilitates communication and education between the business community, local, and state governments. A variety of elected officials, concerned members and townspeople meet to discuss and clarify issues that are affecting our community today, tomorrow and in the future. Douglas County Community Foundation

“The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) provides leadership and responsible stewardship of philanthropic resources to enhance the quality of life in Douglas County”.

The foundation serves Douglas County and its communities including Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Franktown, Highlands Ranch, Larkspur, Lone Tree, Louviers, Parker, Perry Park, Roxborough and Sedalia.

Leadership Douglas County

LDC is a program for established and emerging leaders who live or work in Douglas County and want to take a deep dive into local issues, network with top leaders in the region and enhance their opportunities for civic engagement.

At Leadership Douglas County (LDC), we are creating a strong community through our program for all leaders from all backgrounds — civic, business, service, religious and non-profit.

The Women of Influence Luncheon Series provides opportunities and a venue for women leaders to network, share their best insights and business practices, and foster connections with others. Each quarterly luncheon will address a particular key issue and solutions to women’s advancement.

Talent Pipeline Douglas County is a program to close the Skills Gap in Douglas County—this partnership is between the Chamber, Collaboration Campus (ACC/CSU/DCSD), employers and business leaders together addressing the skills gap between training and abilities needed in the workplace.  Our focus is to be demand-driven, addressing the most critical workforce needs.

Talent Pipeline Douglas County (TPDC) is a multi-industry collaborative that engages with community members and local industry to facilitate partnerships and deliver solutions to help create and sustain a thriving work based learning community.

TPDC Strives to:

Foster a talent ecosystem
Serve as a catalyst and caretaker for strategic recruitment / management
Align partnerships to close skills gap
Design and implement performance measures to monitor talent health
Drive change
