Member Testimonials

Rock Solid Leads Group:

“Rock Solid Leads is a fantastic group of like-minded entrepreneurs and business owners. This group thrives with relationship building in order to give quality referrals. The Castle Rock Chamber is made up of these individuals who support each other, their town, and the residents in it.”

- Stephanie Sawin, Mattress by Appointment Castle Rock

LDC Alumni:

“Leadership Douglas County gave me my bearings as an emerging leader in Douglas County. I learned the critical elements that make this county what it is and have developed strong community partners to champion shared goals. I have participated in several chamber learning opportunities such as Women of Influence luncheons and business trainings. I continually reach out to my network of Chamber colleagues to find resources and referrals.”

- Codie Winslow, Douglas County Office of Clerk & Recorder

Tours for Teachers:

“Tours for Teachers has enhanced the classroom experience for our students and the participating teachers have expanded their network in their career pathways. Touring our chamber member’s businesses has given me the opportunity to learn what the hiring needs are for these businesses, in turn, couching our students more accurately. Without my chamber membership, connecting with our community of businesses would have been challenging. The rapport established with these leaders has opened doors to additional work-based learning opportunities for our students; internships, apprenticeships, employment opportunities, and other business engagement in our DCSD classrooms.”

- Kathy Frommer, Douglas County School District

Leads Referral Group:

“I love to learn and grow from fellow community members and local business owners through our leads group. They have set themselves apart as a serious group that cares about their community and the impact their skills add. Being a chamber member gives our customers the confidence to know that we participate in the accountability and long-term positioning of our business. The resources the chamber provides have also been helpful to the growth of our business. “

- Jessica Winters, Kitchen Tune-Up

Member Benefits:

“Eight years ago, as a newcomer to Castle Rock, I discovered the Castle Rock Chamber and it became a catalyst for my business growth as well as a personal avenue for fun and connection with other community members. By actively participating and contributing to the community, not only did it enhance awareness of my business and brand, it also allowed me to take pride in being a Chamber member. The valuable insights and connections I gained through their programs have been instrumental in my journey, and I am grateful for the enriching experience of being part of the Chamber.”

- Dawn Gabriel, CEO of Authentic Connections Counseling

Rock Solid Leads Group:

“The Castle Rock Chamber benefits my business immensely because it allows me the opportunity to learn about new business growth strategies from fellow entrepreneurs. The collaboration with Chamber members is crucial for making new connections, working as a community, and problem solving through different platforms. A rising tide lifts all boats, and that is what the Chamber can do for a business.”

- PJ Ausmus, RE/MAX Professionals, Ausmus Realty

Leads Referral Group/ GIC:

“The Chamber has helped my business be more visible in the community and with the networking groups. I have been able to make strong connections with other community business owners as well. These relationships often turn into referrals for us, and I am able to refer other businesses I know through the Chamber also. It’s a great community! We try to leverage the Chamber membership to be aware of the upcoming community events we should be a part of. When important measures on the ballot come up, and there is an impact to local businesses, the chamber is the first to convey this information out to its members.”

- Jeremy Barton, Barcos Painting

Chamber Board:

“As the owner of a small business in Castle Rock, we joined the chamber to network with other businesses.  We also volunteered at several of the signature events, to get more involved in the community.  This involvement has led to us building great relationships with other businesses and a significant number of referrals.  I joined the Board of Directors several years ago to serve in more of a leadership role and through this I have developed even closer relationships with other chamber members, as well as meeting new business owners through the many networking events.”

- Mary Anderson, Minuteman Press Castle Rock

New Members:

“I have been a member of the CR Chamber for about 8 months now. I have found a strong sense of community in my leads group that meets twice a month. I’ve made genuine connection with fellow business owners, found new business for my family and I to support, and been able to exchange referrals with high quality people. I firmly believe Chamber membership is worth every penny, and I’m thankful I found my way to the CR Chamber.”

- Katie Druva, Core3 Drywall, LLC

Tours for Teachers :

“Being involved in the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce allows us to increase our visibility within the community and build valuable relationships with other businesses serving Castle Rock. Further, our involvement with the Tours for Teachers program has furthered this opportunity for being visible throughout Douglas County and hopefully promoting the long-term development of available workforce throughout the area.”

- Steve Peterson, Christian Brothers Automotive

Foundation Board / Member Benefits:

“Joining the Castle Rock Chamber has been one of the best business decisions I’ve made since opening my Agency. The Chamber has offered me opportunities I would have never had a chance to explore without being a Chamber member. Through the Chamber’s networking events, I’ve met and become both friends and referral partners with many various other business owners who I would not have met otherwise. The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce Foundation is an integral part of the Castle Rock community that I am extremely proud to be a part of. Thank you, CR Chamber, for being such a huge impact on my business as well as a pillar of the community.”
