Welcome to Castle Rock, Colorado!
With a reputation for home town hospitality, this charming community has received recognition by numerous national publications as one of the best towns to live, work and play.
Located less than 30 miles south from Denver, it’s the 10th fastest growing city in America, according to recent U.S Census data (May 2015). People continue to make Castle Rock their relocation choice for many attractive factors, including a scenic, convenient location about halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs, a low crime rate and a near-perfect high school graduation rate. As of March 2017, the population is 62,971, with the state of Colorado population of 5.5 Million.
The town continues adding amenities to keep pace with this growth, such as the new $22 million-plus, 270-acre Philip S. Miller Park and Miller Activity Center – the largest park project in the town’s history. Outdoor recreation lovers can also enjoy numerous other city parks, as well Castlewood Canyon State Park. The area’s gorgeous golf courses scored the city a spot on Livability.com’s Top 10 Golf Cities list.
Castle Rock is also known for excellent shopping, whether for unusual finds at locally owned boutiques in historic downtown or great deals from national retailers at The Outlets at Castle Rock or the brand new Promenade at Castle Rock.
