Support Your Community!
Shop Local

Castle Rock Chamber Invites You to Support Local & Shop Small all year round but especially this Holiday Season.

We started with a simple but very important objective to support and promote local businesses, and that straight forward mission still drives everything we do more than half a century later.

Thank you for supporting your local businesses! After all, small businesses are what built America, one neighborhood at a time. Together we are Stronger #CRCStrong

Support Local, Shop Small

We hope you’ll shop locally year-round, as well as on Small Business Saturday, and when you’re visiting those businesses, make sure to thank the owner for keeping his or her doors open.

After all, small businesses are what built America, one neighborhood at a time.  Together we are Stronger #CRCStrong

Why Shop Small

When you shop at locally owned, independent businesses more money is kept in the community because local businesses often purchase from other local businesses, service providers and farms. Buying locally helps grow other businesses as well as our region’s tax base. Non Profits Receive Greater Support.

Why Shop Local

It helps local businesses succeed and strengthens the area economy. It also provides sales tax revenue to the Town, which is needed to provide core services like police and fire protection and road and park maintenance.

Buy Local or its BYE Local!

Which one are you supporting?  It’s about preserving our community!

Why It’s So Important to Shop Local

For every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 will stay in the community. What happens when you spend that same $100 at a national chain? Only $43 stays in the community.

The Town relies heavily on sales tax to fund police, fire, snow removal, roadwork, parks maintenance and other services our community needs.  Residents pay, on average, just $35 per year in property tax. That funds about 17 days of fire and police services. Funding for the rest of Town services for the rest of the year is from sales tax.

The Chamber provides leadership on issues important to business and takes collective action to advance sustainable economic growth and a better Douglas County for all who live, work and play in our city and region.

As we continue to rebound from recent downturns in our nation’s economic climate, the Chamber forges ahead in our vision of Igniting Passion for Business Success and Community Prosperity.  Our unwavering efforts ultimately make our community a better place for everyone to live, work and play.  For more than half a century, through the support and teamwork of our members and our partners, the Chamber is able to continue to achieve our goals and ensure continued success.
